Join North Bridger Bison founder Matt Skoglund for an unforgettable, hands-on field-harvest experience in Montana’s stunning Shields Valley. Just 15 miles past Bridger Bowl, your group of up to four will stay two nights at the ranch’s architect-designed 3-bedroom Airbnb, nestled on a secluded dirt road with sweeping views. Start your morning with coffee, pastries, and conversation in the barn before heading out to the bison herd. After observing and photographing the animals in their wild setting, Matt will field-harvest a bison and guide you through the field-dressing process—which can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like. The experience includes 15 lbs of frozen ground bison, a fresh steak from your harvested animal to enjoy that night, and the skull of the bison—taxidermied for you—as a lasting tribute to the experience.
